Human Error 04:48
Well, I been sleepin'. Somehow without even turning skeptic to this human error of blinking. And it's been keepin' my hands tied to what's been in front of me this whole time. This whole time. Well, I've been sleeping. I've been sleeping, yeah! Sleeping somehow without catching a single wink. These dulled receptors and shakey eyelids have it out for me. Well, I've been stupid; clumsy. Trippin' over my toes, when did I get so tall that I couldn't see? I've been so god damned stupid; Becoming lost in the overtones. So redundant, but you know how easy it is to slip back into that "oh so usual." Well, I've been sleeping. I've been sleeping, yeah! Sleeping somehow without catching a single wink. These dulled receptors and shakey eyelids have it out for me. I've been so god damned, motherfucking, piss ass, dumb and deaf stupid. Yeah!!! I've been stupid somehow without noticing a single thing. Going through the motions has all but forgiven me. Day or night it makes no difference. Because time is all in my head. So therefore, time is a mess; accidentally repressed. What will happen afterall? Will my tongue be stuck on snooze?

I hope you're comfy. I hope your fireplace keeps burning brightly. And if your slippers have slipped off, and your feet have started to freeze, I'll wrap my threads around them; Everlong Footsies. Content, we've spent the last few hours in reminisce. May we stay? Oh, you're familiar scent. Back seat driving, it's got me writhing. You know what I think? I think we've perfected the act of... In the morning, Oh, who are we kidding? Start the coffee, The smell will arouse me. Yeah, but no worries. Down it all for me. It's hotter than hell, I know Just bare with me. Just bare with me. May we stay? May we stay? Oh, your familiar scent. Back seat driving, it's got me writhing. You know what I think? I think we've perfected the act of...

Disheveled 04:03
They say there's always tomorrow, but what if that day is still filled with sorrow? It might be too hard. I might have to borrow some strength from the substance abuse. Am I waiting for change or death? Whichever comes first, I suppose. Lay down your bets, and please watch your step; you might plague the ground and kill what I've grown. Docile eyes over the top. The remnants of us, I'm ready to drop. But the rut I fell in was way too deep. Fractured bones, all alone, sanity seeps through my wounds. Vigor has fled... I'm numb from my head down. Bleeding through, pleading you "I'll come as close as I see fit." Now I'm disheveled, where is my shovel? Of course it's not here, I left it in the rubble of this broken house and home. This broken house and home. The place we'd sit alone, by the candlelight, throughout the night I'd keep you close.... The place we'd sit alone, by the candlelight, throughout the night I'd keep you close to me.

Is it silly of me to think that those little looks we give each other can't bring a smile even when we're feelin' blue? I do it on purpose, you're so gorgeous, you light up the room. And shake up my brain in way more ways than I can count; without your hands too. I'll say what I need to say, and I hope you've been waitin' around for months and weeks for my heart to show Just what is it that's really holding you back? Is it your heart saying "Nooo!" or is it, is it really all that I lack? It's okay that we haven't quite figured out all of the details. That leaves us room to spread ourselves and tell. Stories, memories, travesties, and what we like best. So lend an ear and maybe a little more... how about your chest? hehehe I'll say what I need to say, and I hope you've been waitin' around for months and weeks for my heart to show Just what is it that's really holding you back? Is it your heart saying "Nooo!" or is it, is it really all that I lack? I've been waitin' around hoping that you would see a side that you liked of me. And this won't hold us down. We can loosen the knots that we tend to tie on ourselves. Maybe we, what if you, what if I? Oh nevermind No, wait! I don't know, but I'd like too, oh tell me more.

Babble 06:48
Persistent, persistent what have we become? Persistent, persistent the fire burning on our tongue. A car waiting for a train on the tracks with it's tires slashed. We eventually escaped, and ran opposite ways in what seemed like a flash. The trouble isn't admitting our wrongs. The trouble is wanting to make them up to us, but I just can't recall where you've gone. But maybe if I sit here in the corner long enough Oh justa babblin, babblin, babblin I'll mutter the right words that will never be heard. I loved you, where are you? Can I find you? What will it take? I love you even though we've been apart I'll find you Though nothing's all we've got. I want you, where are you? will I find you? I don't care what it will take.

about

As a whole, Human Error, is a concept album of sorts. These songs were written throughout the first 5 years of my adult life. The ups and downs of my destructive mind and heart, the blindness to colors that aren't related to my literal biological deficiency, and the persistence to persevere without perfection.

Thank you to Ricardo "Pedro" Perez for being interested in my sounds and ideas. This was a year long process with sporadic studio dates, which led to a lot of different ideas, and improvement. He recorded, mixed, and mastered this entire EP all while asking my input on everything.
